- Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve ClassMate, including personalizing your experience, displaying relevant listings, and enabling communication between buyers and sellers. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
4. Data Sharing
We only share your data with third-party services necessary to operate ClassMate (e.g., Firebase for authentication and data storage). Your profile information is visible to other verified students within the app. We never share your email address publicly.
5. Your Rights
You can request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@classmate.app. You can also delete your account directly from the app settings.
